Feel
Silicone is firm and holds sculpted micro-detail. TPE is softer, warmer and more pliable. Neither is better – it is a genuine preference.
Durability and care
Silicone resists heat, stains and dye transfer; a simple wash-and-dry is enough. TPE needs regular powdering and avoiding dark fabrics, but with that routine it also lasts years.

TPE starts lower (from 999 USD); full platinum silicone starts around 1,699 USD. A quality TPE doll is an excellent first companion.
