Every Qijiayu Doll is crafted in Dongguan, China – the city that makes more than 40% of the world’s companion dolls. Two long-term partner workshops produce for us, and this page shows how they work.
Partner workshop 01 — Qianyou
Qianyou operates an 8,200 m² facility with 114 staff and 82 production lines, independently audited by TÜV (report TP2606033004); supplier material documentation (MSDS sheets) is available on request. It builds our classic silicone and TPE line, producing for international brands as a 1688-verified super-factory for more than seven years.
Stocked brand 02 — MZRAIDOLL
MZRAIDOLL (Meizaoren Technology) builds the TPE and silicone companion catalogue in Dongguan since 2015 – 18,000 m² across two buildings plus a 3,000 m² R&D base, with body-scan modelling and optional AI interactive heads. It is the workshop behind our smart companions.
How a doll is made
- Digital sculpting – every head and body starts as a 3D sculpture, refined with artist input.
- Platinum-cured casting – platinum-cured silicone poured and cured in dedicated molds.
- Hand-finished makeup – blush, veining and skin tone applied by hand; no two finishes are identical.
- Skeleton assembly – fully articulated skeletons fitted and movement-tested, with optional functions such as standing feet installed where selected.
Quality control before dispatch
Every doll is individually inspected before it leaves the workshop: material batch verification, seam and surface check, articulation test, and a cosmetic finishing review. A doll that fails any step goes back – it does not ship.
